Assam Gramin Vikas Bank (AGVB) has released notification for recruitment on the posts of Office Assistant and Officers in following fields. For this purpose Online applications have been invited from eligible candidates from 14th December 2011 to 10th January 2012 for filling up 279 vacant post of Office Assistant and Officers Scale – I, II & III in Assam Gramin Vikas Bank (AGV Bank). Interested candidates must submit their online applications between the date of starting and closing after getting satisfied themselves that they are fulfilling the all required relevant eligibility conditions. Details regarding this advertisement as educational qualification, age limit, applying process, important relevant dates, number of vacancies etc. are mentioned below:
Total number of vacancy: 279
1. Office Assistant (Multi Purpose) – 116 in which 07 for SC, 13 for ST, 31 for OBC and 65 for UR and out of which 03 for PWD and 12 for EXS – Salary of Rs. 12034 per month

Eligibility Conditions for applying against the advertisement:
Educational Qualifications as on 1st December 2011:
For Srl. no. 1 and 2 -Candidates should be either Graduate or its equivalent in any discipline from a recognized University along with proficient in Local Language.
For Srl. no. 3 –  Candidates should have completed Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline with 50% marks in aggregate from a recognized University. For Marketing Officer, candidates should have passed MBA in Marketing and for Treasury Manager, should be either CA or MBA in Finance from any reputed institute and should have at least one experience.
For Srl. no. 4 – Candidates must have completed Bachelor Degree in any subject with at least 50% marks in aggregate or its equivalent and must have 05 years of experience as an Officer in either any bank or financial institution.
 Limit of Age as on 1st December 2011 for:
Srl. no. 1 and 2 –  Age of candidate should be not less than 18 years and not more than 28 years.
Srl. no. 3 – Candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 32 years of age.
Srl. no. 4 – Candidate’s age not exceeding 40 years.
Relaxation in upper age limit: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years of PWD Gen category, 15 years for PWD SC/ST category, 13 years for PWD OBC category and for any other reserved category candidates by as applicable.
Application Fees: Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PWD category candidates for all posts and Rs. 250/- for Gen and OBC category candidates for the post of Office Assistant and Rs. 400/- for the posts of Officer.
Mode of payment: Application fees should be paid at the respective branch of Assam Gramin Vikash Bank (AGVB) / United Bank of India (UBI) through Challan.
